Hello. My name is Disillusioned, and I'm user #9133.

Update: I can't tell you the number of times I've laughed my ass off tonight in reading the comments you've all left here. Thank you for reminding me, and helping me show others, what this community can really be like when we're not poking each other's eyes out. I'll be watching you! *(wink)* Until then, there are many more diaries out there, most of them 100 times better than this one. Feel free to UN-Rec this diary at will in order to make room for one of the truly important diaries that are waiting to be read. Good night all!

It seems to me that the UID (User ID) has become the weapon of choice here lately when trying to beat someone over the head for a comment that they don't agree with. I just want to let everyone who would be silly enough to click on a diary from me know how simple-minded this practice is. UID has absolutely nothing to do with...well...anything!
At one point in time, before the site became so popular, it was a half-assed way to take a guess as to whether the new user was a troll. I'd give the method a 20% accuracy rate, and that's being generous.
Susan Ralston to Flip on White House and Rove?
Wed May 23, 2007 at 02:36:08 PM PDT
I apologize for the short entry, but I am not as adept at laying out the Abramoff scandals as others on this blog. However, this report on CNN caught my eye today despite the fray about the Iraq Funding Bill.
Snip - Susan Ralston, a former top assistant to President Bush's political adviser, Karl Rove, is willing to tell Congress what she knows about contacts between White House officials and disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff - but only if she's granted immunity from prosection, her lawyer has told congressional investigators.
My DKos New Year's Resolutions for 2007
Sun Dec 31, 2006 at 10:37:53 AM PDT
Well, it's the end of the year again, and what a hell of a year it's been! I won't list everything that's happened, as that's been done on the front page and elsewhere already by far more eloquent people than I, but most of those things have shaken me to the core.
Along with all of the news, excitement, and other things, I've noticed that a new slew of meta diaries have gone up today. For once, they got me to thinking. (A hard thing to do sometimes... getting me to think that is. Tee Hee!)
Today is the day to plan for new beginnings. I've decided that I'd like to plan for a new beginning here on Kos as well. Nah, I'm not changing my name, or my style, etc., however, I have decided that I do have a few DKos Resolutions to make. So in the spirit of sharing, here they are:
Think I give a crap that the world is "watching"??

I love Jerome’s diaries, and I love and value Jerome’s input and contributions to Dkos. But that diary on the rec list has struck a nerve with me, and it isn’t a pleasant feeling. I’ve been sitting for a day or two debating on whether or not to write this, but I must. You see... I don’t give a flying fuck if the world is "watching", and here’s why:
